               <l>Threatened by conquest of this hapless isle,</l>
               <l>Whose sad invasions by the Conqueror</l>

               <l>Their gentle necks unto their stubborn yoke</l>
               <l>Of drudging labour and base peasantry.</l>
               <l>Sir Thomas Goddard now <q>Old Goddard</q> is,</l>

                  for your grist, I warrant you.</p>

               <p>Iwis you will, when I cannot. Why look, you have a mill. Why, what’s your mill
